The answer is: NO, NO and NO.

Why?

Because you are designing for humans of all ages, not just for 'young people'. Forget the prejudices of Zuckerberg, etc., and think about designing for REAL PEOPLE based on research with REAL PEOPLE.

And please...

Forget about the prejudices of the recruiters, who KNOW NOTHING about real UX and real research.

So, get out there and use your invaluable real-world experience, your empathy with all sorts of people (outside the cage of 'young people') to design better experiences for people of ALL AGES in the domains of government services, non-profits, health-care... and yes, business. If business only dealt with 'young people', there would be no business.

Good luck on your illustrious future career!
